Theo Erben of Nieuwegein in The Netherlands, has been a golf clubmaker for over 15 years and a member of the "PROFESSIONAL CLUBMAKERS Society since 1998. Erben achieved the distinction of Professional "Class A" clubmaker by passing three rigorous written and practical skills examinations. The PCS developed the certification program to ensure that each Professional "Class A" Clubmaker achieves the highest standard of academic proficiency, applied technology and excellence in craftsmanship. All certified PCS members must abide by the PCS code of Ethics and participate in the Continuing Professional Education Program.

Erben builds golf clubs uniquely fitted to your stature, swing pattem, swing speed,
tempo, stance etc.Since clubmakers like Erben are independent craftsmen, they do
not incur the high cost of advertising and pro-endorsements. This makes the
product more affordable than the highly advertised, mass- produced national

A professional clubmaker is to golf equipment as a professional teacher is to the golf swing. Technology today enables a professional clubmaker to select the components that will most accurately assist golfers in making the most of their swing.
